Step 10: Create a “Boomerangs Activity Status” Report
🔧 Setting Up the "Boomerang Contacts List" Report in Salesforce
This report helps you track engagement across Champion Tracking Boomerang Contacts.
Step 1: Create a New Report
- Navigate to Reports tab in Salesforce.
- Click New Report.
- Choose Contacts & Accounts & BR as the report type.
- Click Continue.
Step 2: Apply Filters
Use the Filters panel on the left side to narrow down the data:
- Show Me: All Accounts
- Created Date: All Time
- Is a BR Contact: equals
True
Step 3: Add Groupings
- Group Rows by:
SDR Owner
Account Active
(to see if the account is currently being worked)
Step 4: Add Required Columns
Use the Columns panel to add the following fields:
Field | Description |
Created Date | When the contact was added |
Last Activity | Last known engagement/activity |
Meeting Set | Any meeting activity |
First Name & Last Name | Contact name |
Title | Contact’s job title |
Account Name | Associated company |
BR Past Relationship | Past CRM tag (e.g., Closed Lost) |
BR Past CRM Account | Where they were previously tracked |
Mobile | Phone number |
BR LinkedIn URL | Clickable link to LinkedIn |
Email | Email address |
BR Current Job Started Date | Start date of the new role |
BR Plays | Active Boomerang plays running on this contact |
Note: Please add any additional fields that would help show engagement such as Outreach Sequence Status, Step Number, Contact Worked Status, Meeting booked.
