Step 13 (Only TAS Customers): Reports Creation

📊 Setting Up Target Account Tracking Reports in Salesforce

To help Boomerang track job changes and executive movements across your priority accounts, please create the following two reports. These must be saved in a public folder so our integration can access them.

🔹 Report 1: Target Accounts List (Account-Level Report)

This report allows Boomerang to ingest your list of high-priority accounts.

🧭 Steps to Create:

  1. Go to ReportsNew Report
  1. Choose Accounts as the report type
  1. Click Continue

🔧 Filters:

  • Show Me: All Accounts
  • Optionally filter by Tier, Region, or any field that defines your Target Accounts

📋 Columns to Include:

  • Account ID (18-digit)
  • Account Name
  • Website
  • Type or Stage (e.g., Customer, Prospect)
  • LinkedIn URL (if available)

💾 Save As:

  • Report Name: Boomerang - Target Account List
  • Folder: Save to a Public Reports folder

🔹 Report 2: Contacts in Target Accounts (Contact-Level Report)

This report provides Boomerang with visibility into decision-makers and stakeholders at those accounts.

🧭 Steps to Create:

  1. Go to ReportsNew Report
  1. Choose Contacts & Accounts as the report type
  1. Click Continue

🔧 Filters:

  • Add logic to include only contacts linked to your target accounts
    • (e.g., by Account Tier, Account Tag, or matching the accounts from Report 1)

🔸 Important: This should be an ungrouped report.

📋 Columns to Include:

  • Contact ID (18-digit)
  • First Name
  • Last Name
