Configure Picklist Values for Boomerang Record Types

🎯 Record Type: BR Plays, Object: Contact/Lead

This record type is used for tracking active plays tied to job change signals.

To configure:

  1. Navigate to:
    1. Setup → Object Manager → Contact/Lead → Record Types → BR Plays

  1. Scroll to Picklist Values section
  1. Ensure the following values are added under Selected Values:
      • Customer Executive Movement (Open Opp)
      • High Value Job Change Movement (Open Opp)
      • General Job Change Movement (Open Opp)
      • Customer Executive Movement
      • High Value Job Change Movement
      • General Job Change Movement

🔒 Note: These picklist values are used in downstream automation and reporting logic. Please do not rename or remove them once added.

🧾 Record Type: BR Past Relationship, Object: Contact/Lead

This record type helps categorize historical relationship context with contacts.

To configure:

  1. Navigate to:
    1. Setup → Object Manager → Contact/LEad → Record Types → BR Past Relationship

  1. Scroll to Picklist Values section
  1. Add the following under Selected Values:
      • Admins
      • Customer Contacts
      • Power Users
      • Closed Lost Contacts
      • Open Opportunity Contacts
      • Churned Account Contacts
      • Closed Won Contacts
      • Any other category added by you for Boomerangs

🧠 These tags are used by Boomerang to enrich records based on past engagement context, which improves targeting logic and historical reporting.

📌 Final Notes

  • Ensure all relevant Profiles and Page Layouts have access to the configured Record Types and picklist fields.
  • Please ensure this is done for both Contact & Lead object.
  • These values can be used in list views, flows, automation rules, and reporting.
