Step 5: Create field for Open Opportunities Count
Create field for Open Opportunities Count
Step 1: Go to Setup in Salesforce and proceed to Object Manager.
Step 2: Go to Account Object and select Fields and Relationships.
Step 3: Create a new field called “Open Opportunities Count” with the type Roll-Up Summary.


Step 4: Select Summarized Object as Opportunities. Step 5: Select Roll-Up Type as COUNT. Step 6: In the criteria, select the field as Stage and the Operator as equal.

Step 7: Beside value you should see a search symbol indicating its a picklist field. Click it.
Step 8: In the pop up, select all the picklist values except Closed Won and Closed Lost.

Step 9: Save the newly created field. You’re all set!
