Step 0: Pre-Work and Data Hygiene

Getting Started with Rudy

Rudy helps your team uncover and activate warm introduction paths into your target accounts by bringing together three key ingredients:

  • Your Salesforce account and contact data
  • Your internal sales team (Requesters)
  • Your trusted network of relationship holders (Super Connectors)

Before your onboarding call, there are a few simple setup steps to complete:

1. Salesforce Account Report

Create a Salesforce Account Report that includes only the accounts you want warm introductions into.

Please make sure:

  • The Report Type is set to Public
  • The Report Name starts with Boomerang -

Example:

Boomerang - Target Enterprise Accounts

This naming convention allows Rudy to reliably identify and sync the correct accounts.

2. Ensure Contact Data Is Up to Date

For all accounts in the report, ensure associated contacts have the following fields populated:

  • First Name
  • Last Name
  • LinkedIn Profile URL
  • Current Title
  • Account Domain

This data is required for accurate warm intro path matching.

3. Set Up Ongoing Contact Updates

Relationships change constantly- people join companies, change roles, or move on. To keep Rudy’s insights relevant, we recommend setting up a monthly process to refresh contact data.

This should include:

  • Adding new contacts who join your target accounts
  • Updating or removing contacts who leave

Once these steps are complete, please complete Step 2 to set up IFrames on your SFDC.

If you need help:

  • Reach out to your Boomerang point of contact
